I guess it is a very big bug with the version but it makes the plugin useless.

Thanks for the review. I also provide free support for this free plugin on the same site where you downloaded the plugin from and there is also a link here on the JED to the Support page.
If you were serious enough to use this plugin you would have visited the support forum and found the reason for what you brand as a bug.
By the time the JED approved this plugin it was already on version 1.5.1, so everyone is using the same version. If it's not working for you , you would have to look at the support site.

I usually check the reviews of the extensions first than I use it.
This one had no review so I was kind of suspicious but works like a charm.
It does what it says. Creates thumbnails of all the images in a folder automatically. Just set the plugin first and then works like a charm whenever you put an image to that folder.
