This will be working within seconds of installing it. It's dead simple, and is a quick fix to add user customization to your website.

For the future I would love the ability to print a pdf of the favorites, either with excerpts or the entire articles. But as-is, it's great.

Elegant but incomplete

This is the best beginning to a joomla blogging component that I have seen. Install the component and plugin, then create front-end menu items, and all registered users can blog. Nice and simple. And the Component nature makes it easy to add the blog into your menu system, rather than trying to build an elegant blog out of the stock Joomla section and category system.

Unfortunately, it's too basic for us to use. Our site is an ecommerce site, where all shoppers are registered users, but we only want administrators to be able to blog. So this component will not work for us until better administrative rights are included.

Categories and tags would also be beneficial.
