Some problems

The component's concept and design are ambitious but, so far, I have not been able to make it work. This developer's website looks good, I installed the 1.1 beta version but could not get images in the front end or get to placing images in the map. When I uninstalled, the data base had to be uninstalled manually.
When I installed the version 1.2 it appears to be the 1.1 beta again. Some changes, but still no images. Also, the bulk upload in the back end did not work.
All in all so far a disappointment. The developer knows what he is doing (the website works well) but this component needs work.

If you have any problem, post in forum.

Batch upload in backend works fine.
If you uninstall the component, the database will be deleted automatically.

I have used several gallery components on my photo web site and this is the best of the group.
Lots of back end control-size, color-and creates thumbnails easily.
Some issues about sizing the images in the parameter control but when these were ironed out worked fine.
Thanks for a FREE and very usable component.

I have had problems with drop down menus being blocked by other menus, needing to scroll down a long list of components, and the utilitarian look of the default admin template. This template by Joomlapraise beautifully solves these problems. The only issue I have is the additions to the template didn't work when I installed them. Not sure what the problem is?

Much needed video component with option to use as a module.
There is an issue with the module changing the video ratio.
Also, I would be glad to see the able to use thumbs to index the videos.
I've been able to use MP4 files and the videos are smooth with good quality.

I like the pageflip format but the photo is distorted when it doesn't fit the aspect ratio. Also, a selection of page flip sounds would be a good idea.

Excellent extension with some issues

I had this extension up and running in a very short time. It does a good job. There was an issue with the import funciton which I managed to correct. There are four fields needed but the csv file kept stalling until I changed the confirm setting in the administration panel. Smooth after that.
I am using the FREE version (just a small site) but can see that the author is commendably responsive in support and will upgrade as my site grows.
Thanks for an excellent, well thoughtout extension.
