I have been running a community based joomla site for a number of years, however I am not a technical person. Therefore, I rely on sturdy extensions created by people who support their product. I have been using AdsManager for years. I love it. It's easy for user and administrator. Thomas Papin thinks through usability and supports his products. Recently I purchased and installed PaidSystem. It installed easily, but it had some conflicts. I wrote to support. Papin communicated with me. Answered several emails and solved all my issues within 2 days.

PaidSystem itself meets my needs perfectly to turn a free classified section into a partially paid solution. I'm very pleased with the results. Support from this company is excellent. Through the years I had a number of occasions to ask questions. I am always answered promptly and politely. Usually by Papin himself.
AdsManager
I have been using AdsManager for a number of years. When I switched my site over to 1.5, I changed to another classified ad extension and was never satisfied. I'm happy to say I'm back with Papin. AdsManger holds up to use. Papin has thought through usability for user and administrator. Now with Paid System, AdsManager gets another boost. If you want a well supported system that will last, don't look any further.

jNews
I have been using Acajoom Plus for 2 years now without issue. Today was the first time I had to contact customer support and received top notch assistance to upgrade my package to JNews.
Pay 4 featured
My 1.0. 12 site uses AdsManager and SOBI2. I’ve been waiting for an extension that would allow me to have paid feature listings from the SOBI directory. I didn’t expect to get a module that could do both. As this was a new extension with no reviews or ratings, I was a little hesitant to purchase the product – but for less than $20USD, I decided to go ahead and buy the module to try it out. I’m thrilled I did!

Cedric’s support has been outstanding. He patiently responded to all my stupid questions and guided me through the process to get the module working. I’m using with SOBI2 for now.

One thing to pay attention to: once the module is installed and parameters set, manipulation of listings is done through the front end with user or admin login. To bypass payment, login as admin, select plan and click payment button.
