Frontend User Article List
Ever since J1.5 came out I have been searching for a replacement for MyContent (hacked) to allow pages to be published from the front end.
This component does the same, and better, straight out of the box.
Thanks very much for this extension!

EventList
Eventlist gives you a pretty simple events diary component.
Combined with the Quivva eventlist calendar module it does just about what I need for most sites.

A few drawbacks: Fix these and it gets 5 stars.
1. I cant get front end editing to work, possibly due to my fix for 2 below.

2. Venues. Like other reviewers I think it would be so much better if you could just turn off venues in the parameters (It's not too hard to get around this with a template override of the editevent view)

3. It insists on using the standard editor even though I have JCE set as the default.

4. The support forum has been down for maintenance for quite a while.

The instructions above are pretty straightforward, install the component and plugin, "create your cache record" and activate the plugin.

Now if only it said "Dont leave the folder input fields blank or it will delete your entire site"!

God bless Joomlapack.

Hi!

In fact the component erase the cache folder content to create the new one. If you don't select a cache folder, the defaut one was the root directory.

A new version is now online, It fix the problem by adding a '/mcache' directory to every folder selected as a cache folder.

EasySQL for Joomla, if you without phpMyAdmin
I needed some way besides phpMyAdmin to load records into jos_content.

I was hoping this would be it, but it inserts every record twice.

Its OK for SELECT queries though
