Easy of Installation: 5-Stars
Ease of Use: 5-Stars
Support/Feedback: Lacking
Pros: Quick interface to databases with views and forms.
Cons: Would have liked to have seen a variable like joodb printbutton but for delete function (joodb delete) on the single-entry view.
Was able to mod the code to add joodb delete option and delete icon appears on single-view entry, but need assistance with writing code for the delete function. Pretty much the code is the same as for getPopup function. However, getting variables passed and developing the delete query is challenging.
Was able to modify back-end database edit screen to search by abstract field. Default install will only search by fid, ftitle, and fcontent.
Modified front-end catalog view search to be able to search by ftitle, fcontent and fabstract instead of the default fid, ftitle and fcontent.
Also modified plug-in to do the same as catalog view.
Pretty good at PHP, but not too familar with Joomla syntax in regards to passing variables in Joomla and developing queries in Joomla syntax
Developed an Inventory Management site with JooDatabase. However would like my admin users to be able to update/delete from the front-end instead of having to access back-end to edit data.
Overall great extension!
