Update Manager for Joomla!
I have always been behind on Joomla upgrades because they're such a pain to do manually, but this extension makes it all easy. The only thing missing is a reminder to back everything up before proceeding, which is the only thing that keeps me from telling clients to do their own updates - though paired with Akeeba this has made my whole life a heck of a lot easier. :-) This should really be a native function of Joomla, rather than a well-hidden extension!

Crashed my whole site

This extension is beyond useless. First, it's not all inclusive. You have to go to the website and download two other zip files and add them to your template, then edit your template. And second, once you've done that, your site won't load. At least mine wouldn't.

And even if it would have, the extension does not allow you to feed photos into an existing page or template -- it's designed to create its own page, of all of the Flickr sets from a particular username. Not at all what I'm looking for.
