I wanted to setup my company's internal J!-powered site so that employees did not need to log in while at work (ip range based control).
Before purchasing, I contacted the developer, who responded very quickly and effectively. If you need this type of control, jNoGuest does the job. It is easy to use and the developer is very accessible. Cheers!

As Webmaster for a small school district, I needed some form of ACL so that I could allow others to contribute content without worrying about this. JUGA and com_contentsubmit are perfect for this.
I would like to say that carefully reading and following directions for implementation is an absolute must. It is my humble opinion that the negative reviews stem from a lack of careful reading.
And, customer service is prompt and "spot on" with their help.
This is the only extension on my sites for which I pay - and my money is well spent!
Thanks!
