Initially it would not save the meta info properly for my install. I use virtuemart and I also couldnt change page titles without also changing the product names. not what I was wanting.

Been fed up with the lack of support with a few plugins recently.... installed this and immediately had problems, tried to get support but received no answer for 24hrs + and just thought 'oh not again'.

I was wrong.
Shortly after I got a reply with a request for more info. I replied with the info that was needed. I got a swift response to say they will resolve my problem. I thought 'yeah right, here we go'.

However the next morning I had an update, and there was a 'fix'. I upgraded and it kinda fixed my problem, but there was another little error with page titles. I posted another message and was told that it would be fixed by Monday.

Monday morning and there was another update available. I installed and tried to save my info again. YEEHAA it worked. I am delighted.

The support was initially a little slow, and I thought I was going to be let down due to previous experiences with other developers. However my faith has been restored, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this plugin/developer to anyone.

As the title says, this is my first negative review.

I have a Joomla/Virtuemart site and was quite excited to see SmartSEO with a lot of good reviews. It installed easily and seemed to work. However changed data was not been saved and reverted to the original data on page refresh.

I tried a few things I found in posts by people with the same problem - none of which worked for me.

I read the reviews here and saw the devs tell someone else to email info@jjextensions.com with any problems. So I have emailed this address a couple of times with my problem without any reply. I also CCd in the address used to accept my payment - no reply.

I have submitted a support ticket via the devs website - again without reply.

I have also added a post in the devs support forum - again again without reply. The support forum has a few posts asking for help - without reply.

I am not a new user, and have used many plugins across many sites. However when paying money to use a COMMERCIAL version of a plugin/component I do expect even the most basic levels of support.

The only positive is that it was not expensive to purchase and try out. For me it has not worked and I have now moved onto another solution.

Use this on a virtuemart site and sometimes when creating a new product I have been times out of the site....

Got this and installed it, but it just wouldnt work... I was seeing it as enabled, but just wasnt working. When I logged in as another admin it wasnt enabled..... quick click of enable and bam. worked perfect.

Not sure why as my own admin user I could see it as enabled when it wasnt.... and I dont really care now - love it.

Worked straight out the box. Was so impressed in the first coupld of mins I bought the pro version straight away.... best few quid I have spent.

We have a MASSIVE joomla/virtuemart site which is moving to a new server, and we have just had a custom router.php written... so all our links have changed.

The ability to view broken links and easy fix them has been a godsend.

I only wish there was a way to export a list of redirects into a csv so I could add them to the .htaccess file.

Like the title says - you have got to use this addon. Make your registration, and future login much easier for potential customer. I have no doubt in my mind that this extension has helped my website generate £££s from returning customers.

There is nothing more frustrating than having problems logging into any website.

I've been using this extension for a couple of years now and it works like a dream. We have just upgraded to the latest version, and there were a few changes - but everything still works perfectly.

Very quick and easy to setup. Customer support if fantastic. Very speedy responses that answers your questions, and fixes any issues.

I couldn't imagine having my website without this now !!!!!

Very easy to install, and worked straight off the bat no problem.

We never bothered to setup product types and parameters before.... so a lot of work needing done to get everything working. But after testing it initially - it all looks and works great !!!!!
