Nice extension... but got a Question?

Nice and easy to install, and I like the way the counter is displayed on the front end. However, I have no option for the features that I am reading on the reviews. After I installed the extension, the module doesn't have any Parameters to be configured. I'm using Joomla 1.6 and let me know if there is anything I need to do. I know something is not right coz there is no parater showing for this module.

Hi jexplorer, thanks for your Review.

First i must (jed rules) say: please use the Support Forum for Questions or Problems.

Short Answer is: the direct download from this site is only for Joomla 1.5. Please download the Joomla 1.6 File ( mod_vvisit_counter_1_9_19_j16.zip ) from the Project Website/Docu-Page.
In JED i can public only one File, but the Versions J1.5 and J1.6 are different.

Then, when you see all Parameters you can re-check your Review ;)

After spending a lot of time with another time_date extension, which kept displaying wrong AM/PM, . I even checked and checked the php time/date settings and on the Global config. So, finally I used this extension and walla..... working as it's supposed to.

First off, I want to thank the folks at S5 for this simple but great module. I have tried to use this module in my development environment with no luck earlier in joomla 1.6. After a bunch of 404 error messages, I got it to display the referral window by disabling the SEO, but still emails show they're sent but with no luck at the recipient end. But that probably might have been my mail settings under the Global config, which I didn't worry about in my development site.
However, let me say this. On my live site which is already hosted, the module works like a charm. It sends the email regardless of how many recipients I added, 3, 2, 1. One thing that I noticed, though, is the module works only on my home page, but on the other ones it comes up with 404 error. That's not a biggy, so I just have only on that page.
