This extension is excellent: as soon as it's installed and the plugin is activated, it works smoothly with no additional configuration necessary. I use mootools menus and some article slider modules, and this doesn't seem to conflict with anything, which is also a nice benefit. I use JCE as my wysiwyg editor, and I was glad to see that no extension specific plugin was required.
It would be nice if there were a support forum.
I'm using this extension in a site for a State Park, in which I'm using SobiPro as a directory for the park. Unfortunately, when I add entries via the Sobi editor (also uses JCE wysiwyg), Mavik Thumbs doesn't work. I saw the post below about editing the Joomla 1.5 template to get it to work in categories, and I assume this is the same sort of issue.

I've been testing Tienda for about two weeks now, hoping that I'd be able to use it instead of VM. It is exactly what everyone says... attractive, easy to use, and well thought out.
Unfortunately, it's not finished. If you want to ship your products, there are no calculated shipping options except for FedEx, which is not suitable for most of my clients. USPS and UPS are really critical for the modern ecommerce store.
Without this sort of basic functionality, it's hard to imagine getting a community started around it... which is probably why support on the public forum is scanty, at best.
I hope that Tienda grows up... I'll be waiting for it.

I downloaded this and installed it in a matter of minutes, and it works exactly as expected. I haven't done any real modification yet, but I was very pleased at how it looks right out of the box.
It would be nice if there were a parameter in the module control panel to assign whether the menu items in a horizontal layout align to the right or left.
Keep up the good work!

I was looking for a nice slideshow that wasn't just another module, but something that would allow me to quickly create slideshows for article content. This little plugin has been perfect for it! Installed quickly and flawlessly and was running in a matter of minutes.
I did make my own navigation buttons, since the defaults were not quite in line with my site, but that's no big deal.
In the future, it might be nice to have the option to have navigation options appear on hover rather than taking up extra space under it.
Thanks Andreas, a big help and time saver for me!
