Have been using Easyblog for over 6 months and would recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing.

I use the software on a poetry magazine site and it integrates nicely with joomla and other 3rd party components. The back end has a lot of flexible options to customize. This is not an install and leave component. A lot of features but with time you can adapt to your own requirements. The front end component is easy for my site members to use and also comes with a good selection of modules and plugins.

The support is first class (and puts a number of other 3rd party developers to shame). Whilst the support documentation is good where they excel is in their forum. Always quick to respond and fix issues. I asked for customization on a couple of issues, for instance, they have a featured content option and I wanted to retain text formatting. They changed the code for me. They also constantly strive to improve features and software with regular updates.

My personal experience level with joomla, is as someone who can tinker with settings and edit a bit of code - lower to mid level knowledge. As such I sometimes need a bit of help. My favourite joomla developers.

Honestly I never get round to posting reviews. This software has saved me a lot of problems. I have two quiet hefty components and template on my site. It was very slow. I installed and configured this plug in (I'd say it was relatively easy as my knowledge is not that great) and no my site is much quicker. I would say be careful when testing but the software does exactly what it says and allows you to load js and css on a page that is needed and not everything else.

I purchased this software to integrate an existing community website into facebook. I was unsure initially if this software would integrate into my site but due to the constant stream of good reviews, joomla.org integration and informative guides on the sourcecoast site I took the plunge.
Installation and configuration was relatively easy (I have been using joomla sites for 4 years). I did have a configuration issue but sourcecoast responded quickly with a solution. They update the software on a regular basis (at least 3 times in the first month of my purchase). I'm trying to be balanced in my review but to be honest I couldn't be happier with the service and product.
