Joomla is a very simple to manage open source program and has the capabilities to add components to add features to your website. Since many components are free and open source, they lack dedicated developers and support. Open Source Excellence are the opposite and represent quality products, excellent service and support, and reasonable pricing.
As a customer for over 6 months, I have purchased well over 5 products, and am completely satisfied, actually in awe, of their services. Any bump or hurdle I run into, because I lack some understanding with their programming, they respond quickly to my questions with solutions.
If you browse through their customer support forums, you will see that no post goes unanswered by the developers, mainly Helix. With patience and knowledge, he provides direction and solutions to even the most impatient customer.
Not too many joomla component developers are like Helix and his team. I always check their website weekly to see if any products fit my needs, because I would rather purchase from Open Source Excellence over any other developer. Why? Because I know the excellent customer support and products they have to offer.

I am a BIG supporter of the Open Source Excellence Team. I have purchased OS Membership Control, PayPal Subscription Plugin, and the most recent, the Anti-Hack Suite 2.0 beta 3 Standalone.

Several of my clients websites were hacked, and in an immediate attempt to protect their sites and my own, I knew I can turn to the team who has continually produced excellent products and RELIABLE customer support.

I was having trouble installing because of the server I had, and as always, Helix comes to the rescue with lightning fast communication and REAL help with SOLUTIONS. We have exchanged well over 12 emails, because he believes in his product, and genuinely wanted to help me get the site running, and overcome the obstacles I kept running into.

Excellent support combined with an excellent product, is what every Joomla specialist seeks. I recommend Open Source Excellence, for your Joomla solutions.

I was very skeptical about purchasing JAccounts due the negative reviews on this component; however, I considered nBill, but it limits you to once domain, and if you decide to change domains you might have to purchase a new license...so I took a risk with JAccounts, and it worked out okay!

JAccounts was very easy to setup. I am using Joomla 1.5.10 and JAccounts 1.6. The only thing that didn't work was JContacts Lead module; however, this is just an "Extra" and not required for the component to run, so it doesn't really bother me.

I can't comment on their support, as I haven't had a question for them yet, but for those wanting to try out JAccounts, but are hesitant, all I can say is, it worked for me without any bugs using a PayPal invoicing system. My recommendation to the developer is to include documentation.

I've never written a review before, but wanted to comment on this great extension. It was the first time I've ever had to develop a membership extension, and I decided to go with Open Source Membership Control, after doing a bit of research. It offered the features I wanted, it was VERY EASY to configure, and when I had a bug issue and brought it up to Helix, he responded right away with a solution. It easily integrates with Virtuemart which was key for me. The bug issue I encountered (and required help with) has already been fixed with the most recent release. Anyways, just wanted to say thank you for a great component and excellent customer support.
