I highly recommend it.
The good thing is that MijoShop is based on OpenCart which is a standalone e-Commerce system and is not new in this area (since 2005) which means that the system is very very stable. I checked the change log of MijoShop before delivering the payment and realized that there were very few bugs fixed in comparing with the other Joomla components, especially (the gigantic list of) redSHOP!! As I have a deadline for each projct, I need a stable system in order to be able to deliver the project in time and the biggest problem with the other Joomla components was their 'it will be fixed in the next version' statement. No, it shouldn't be there if you're selling it!
So thanks to MijoShop, I now have a stable system and can deliver the project in time.
As stated above, being based on OpenCart is one of the biggest advantages of MijoShop because OpenCart is not only stable but it also has about 6000 extensions. Yes, that's right, 6K extensions ready to use. There are tons of extensions for the elder Joomla component, VirtueMart, but not for the others. I have to hire someone to make those changes/extensions and the freelance job is.... I don't prefer VirtueMart anymore as it's not compatible with Joomla 3 and it's team is applying really nonsense plans. I was able to find about 50 modules for MijoShop just to show products in a slider way and was not able to find any payment gateway that is not available for MijoShop, unlimited payment gateways all around and ready to use. I should also say that 'sometimes' the extensions (very few, 2-3) may not be compatible but the Mijosoft team quickly makes them compatible for you for free, things that happens even between Joomla extensions!
In short, there is a large extensions ecosystem which means expediting the delivery.
And the excellent thing, the high quality and quick support. The worst thing of the other Joomla components is their failing support. The support of HikaShop is so so but you're dead with VirtueMart, Tienda and redSHOP. Thanks to Mijosoft team, especially Burak, I get replies within 1-2 hours generally and sometimes within a half of hour. Amazing! And the replies are all professional and issue solver. If the support team can't solve the issue (came accross once), the ticket is being passed to the developers which makes you feiling in the right hands.
I'm not a developer but a designer so I appreciate the high quality of the support provided by Mijosoft.
All in all, I now finally have a great e-Commerce component for my Joomla sites. I highly recommend it, thank you!
