Congratulations on making my now favourite Joomla component.
I had tried
* SMF
* PHPbb
* vBulletin
* Fireboard
* Kunena
* Fbb
None of them worked anywhere near as seemlessly as ccBoard, all the bridges had issues, and in comparason ccBoard provides everything you need in a dummy proof logical way!.
To be honest, I think it's ccBoards simplicity and looks that really gives it the thumbs up, and it shows the others up as being over bloated, especially when it comes to the database querys.
So I looked for a long time to find faults in the board and I only found two, here they are:
* Some areas of the forum use images from the administration folder (this was an issue because I password protect that folder - but I have fixed this by editing the template)
* There are no SEF things happening (I have read you are implementing this on the next release in the helper.php file)
You are nuts not to try this!
Thankyou Thomas

I love the idear of this mod, it's an essential extention for your DOCman but it has a massive shorcomming:
The mod itself uses the PHPthumb classes, which by design use the GD library, and if ImageMagic is installed on the server then the PHPthumb library takes advantage of it, to generate thumbnails faster.
However this is not the case with Auto Thumb, it requires ImageMagic to run, regardless of your GD library install.
So the author has disabled PHPthumbs ability to use GD library, which is what most people have the only option of using when they have there Joomla on a shared hosting plan.
SO for me this was a HUGE dissapointment.
Lets hope they see the light and fix this massive drawback.

Thank you for your feedback. We have put GD support on the todo list for the next version of AutoThumb.

If your considering a download Manager for Joomla then this is a good choice.
Allowing user uploads and with the DOCman extentions you can add multiple files you have already placed on your website.
Or add files from a remote location, it makes populating your Joomla a breeze.
Drawbacks:
A few of the Essential DOCman extentions do not work as expected
I have seen very few replies on the support forums about the critical issues within them.
That said, I belive this component will overpower the rest once the mods are fine tuned.
