I have been playing around for while doing this and that to get my blog from blogspot migrated to my own site without success - at least there were nice things like a tag cloud missing or clumsy to handle with free plugins.
Then I decided to buy EasyBlog and it was a good investment. Very professional solution for managing a blog and I don't miss anything from my previous blogspot hosting.
I recommend it for everybody who want to set up a professional blog :)

Easy to install, configure and use. One of my absolute favorites. 2 recommendations.
1. If you are a business user get the "Remove Support Ads" plugin from their site, just the 1st ad I got was some strange prostata thing, oh no. It's a pitty because I would like to support their excellent work, by donation, docs buying or whatever.
2. If you are running a multilingual site you are limited to flat menu hierarchies. Maybe they get this fixed one day.
All in all excellent work, congratulations to the developer (s)
