Easy to setup. Configuration is fairly self-explanatory. Does what it says.

However, even the best extensions have bugs or things you don't quite understand. I had both, and the support was excellent! Prompt and helpful responses. In fact, for one particular issue, it was only a few hours between when I reported it and it was resolved.

The component itself is very nice and shows a lot of potential. But there are a lot of things that don't work, and documentation on how to use it properly is almost non-existent.

If there were documentation on what the various settings or fields were, I'd give it 5 stars. Hopefully the developer documents it more thoroughly.

Not often you're presented with some many anti-spam options that you're not sure which one(s) to pick!

But even with that many options, configuration is easy and well laid out.

More importantly, it works! First time! Without hassle!!

I expected a plugin with the name "Security Images" to actually show....well, Security Images.

It doesn't.

Installed easily enough. Configuration is pretty simple, not much one should be able to screw up. But after trying with all three captcha types on all five components, I can't get a security image to show up on ANY of them.

There is no documentation for Joomla 1.6/1.7, nor is there a support forum for it. The contact form to contact the author is broken.

You'd think something that was very recently updated for 1.6/1.7 would be better supported.
