Good - but fails in Chrome

I was really happy to have encountered a nice slide show. But noticed that it does not display in Chrome when sizes are in %. There is no other way to get hold of the proportions (does not allow to put in only height or width).
Contacted the developer but got no answer at all. Not very professional ... :-(
