Ulti RPX
the module and plugin are simple to install. the overall setup with external parties application for authentication, like facebook connect, twitter connect, ect, could take some time but is worth it.

the package allows users to create an account or sign-in with facebook, twitter, yahoo, google, and more. it's that powerful and convenient!

6 choices are offered as external gateways for login with the free version.

more than 6--> commercial. thank for the creation and free services.

jSecure
great plugin for redirecting /administrator to whatever you want, like /administrator?something.

the redirect adds an extra layer of protection. can't hack as easily without know what the redirect link is.

i'm still using the old version because i don't have the money yet but will support this plugin with a honest review and future sales.

great stuff.
simply install. go over the link-able title setting. and publish for a sweet, meta-data-based functional module.

check out the plugin for next entry.
CssJsCompress works as a total solution or almost total solution package for speeding up website, from saving KB's, http requests, and other Yslow and PageSpeed gauging parameters. It has gotten much better than before. If you try it out before, try it out again because it's worth it. The new css & js files compress and combine and html minify engines from CssJsCompress are much gentler than other plugins and didn't break my template. There are exclusion options and customerized JS arrangement in compression and combining for trial and error in getting script to work again.

I'm dreaming the plugin could record some notes on what files and from where did it minify, compress, and combine (hell.. in multicolors or highlighting haha:D) for tracking down which javascript needs to be excluded to get some javascript actions going again.
Mootools Control
In combination with Google Ajax Library plugin, I saved a large chunk of kb on scripts by shutting down mootools and was still able to get and use scripts off of Google. The setting used were all "yes" for this plugin and the Google Ajax Library plugin with 0 in ordering of the system plugins.

I added the Content static plugin with the directory set to cache and htacc-something 2 lines mod and got much better performance.

The results were based on trial and errors and worked for me.

Thank you!

The plugin was a hidden gem.

I closed my eyes, installed, and most of everything works almost out of the box.

The cache directory should be pointed to by the plugin, and 2 lines of code need to be copy and paste onto the htcass-something file, via FTP or file manager.

[Seriously, I just copy and paste and got a great working plugin ahhah:D]

The simple but detailed directions with where to add the 2 lines of codes could be found here

Thank you for the plugin.

I worry about script conflict and am glad this plugin works almost perfectly. Everything works as described. I just have problem getting CK editor to appear in ListBingo.

Together this plugin and smartoptimerz script (and instructions from here: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=433&t=343940 ), my website got a major speed boost.

Thank you.

Seminar
Seminar is great for users, at least author status, to create, organize, and manage their events.

I close my eyes, installed, and have everything setup quite easily and quickly. The modules found at the website are wonderful as well for scrolling listing of events, calendar with events listed as icons/dots/etc, and statistics.

The current component and modules are actually set in English: Just install, try out and enjoy.
