Should you wish to alter the appearance, you will need to understand css and change the component/modules core css files.
My experience of the help is definately a pleasant one, they were quick to offer advice and helped with creating the look I was after.
Having said this, I would like to point out that the extension is worth the price I paid but still needs attention for growth, there are bugs, although quickly fixed when requested, I hope that the programmer will continue to build upon this simple yet intuitive extension and provide further releases.
They have my full support!
