This was almost exactly what I was looking for. It allows registered users to be able to upload and download files and located in a central module and/or page. The problem... what I've noticed is that the only person that can see the uploaded file(s) with the ability to download them is the same user that originally uploaded. I see no way to share the visibility and download right to other reg. users. Am I missing something or is this how the extension works?

Yes, that is how it works, every user can view and download his own files beacause very user have his unique folder.
