I paid through the only option (paypal) and got my download link. The link contains a scrambled extensionless plugin that can't be installed, BUT after asking for support, he helped me out and installed it for me. He attached the right simplehovereffect.zip with the e-mail and I can now install it (tested). Support was frequently asked for by me, and within 30 to 90 minutes I got a quick response where he helped me out. If you want updates about the program (say for joomla 1.5 or 1.6, when the beta comes out), you have to send an email with the paypal order ticket to ask for the updated version. You must look here to see if there is an updated version.

Things could go smoother, but it is a extension i really do need and want. Certainly worth the 7 dollar!
