jWeather
I've used this extension for many years. It seems weather.com is charging for their API now. The link included here is broken.

Sobi2
There's nothing else better for the price tag of FREE! The Sigsiu gang is awesome and knows how to write a good solid component for Joomla!

Twitter Feed
Works better than just importing a twitter RSS feed with default joomla feed module. I was impressed that links are included as actual links and not just plain text.

Only con, I would like it to display dates that my tweets were added. Maybe a way to toggle dates.

Simple & Effective! Perfect for giving a little extra control over your site articles.

I would like to see this work within modules, I don't think you can do that.

Note: Don't try making applications within Joomla. Joomla wasn't designed for components to be designed within articles.

Projectfork
I just wanted to thank you very much for all your hard work and time. It was very much worth it. I just discovered the ability to edit "panel positions" in Project Fork. The amount of details you guys went into developing this is completely astounding. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

JCK Editor
I don't know why other editors get higher rankings than this one, but FCK is EFFEN Awesome!
Owner's reply

Well that's my thought exactly, but enough said! Since last 2007 we have work relentlessly on the project & it has seen a radical set of improvements! Maybe it the case that users have become devoted to using a particular editor & have yet to try it out? Anyway thanks mallamace for your support. Much appreciated!

yvComment
Tons of options, I was looking for a good comment system and I found it. The developers of YVComment hit a home run with this extension.

Note: You must install the Component/Module/Plugin, they are each separate files. I want to reiterate this point to anyone who is installing this extension.

DiggIt
No problems with installation. It's clean it does what it says. However, even though I've submitted my articles to DIGG and they have ratings, my site still shows the DIGG icon with "submit." Shouldn't this change when I've submitted to DIGG?

Phoca Gallery
If you have Joomla 1.5, and you need a photo gallery. It doesn't get much better for a clean intuitive photo gallery application.

Once you get it installed, check out phoca's FAQ on PicLens. If you use Flickr, it's a must have!
