XIPT for JomSocial
I know that many Joomla developers - and I'm included in that group - are hesitant to spend much on extensions. This is very useful, very functional extension, but I'm equally impressed with the ongoing efforts to improve and expand its functionality *plus* put publish twitter updates that share examples and tips. I'm glad I bought it - Great!

Wonderful - it was the last one I tried (and I was almost ready to give up completely) but fortunately it was the one that worked!!

Among several options, this module seems the best option for integrating your Icecast/Shoutcast stream, creating a properly-sized popup box, (optionally) adding google AdSense, and/or customizing your own graphic ad above the play-control bar. (I'm going to see if I can get a sponsor for that prime space.) :-)

I'd love to see a song-now-playing and other track attributes in the player, but for what it does — streaming your station — you can't go wrong using this web-radio module.

I've used several directories and can cite plusses and minusses for each, but by far SOBI2 is the most flexible and useful, featuring an easy-to-install, easy-to-organize, easy-to-use system. With functionality both for users (frontend) and manager-administrators, SOBI2 offers an effective directory. I love it and recommed it to clients, especially those who want to engage users in their online community. Plus, with the addition of several "must-have" plugins, this extension is suitable for every site.

Pro Magic Audio Player
This extension is a nightmare!

-It came with outdated ducumentation.
-There is no support from the developer.
-The plugin is much less than what advertised to be.

I bought the Nova Magic Audio Player about a month ago. I installed it and tried to use it on my website. I tried to get support from the website (which is not in English). After repeatedly trying to reach the developer. I just opt-ed for calling it quits!
