MailChimp integration for Joomla!
I downloaded and installed everything easily and set up a MailChimp account. I had a minor problem with getting my users imported, but it was because I had no list defined on Mailchimp. I found the answer in Joomlamailer forums.

I was flabbergasted by how easy it was to import my information into the template and to create a campaign. I included several articles from different categories and added a graphic with a link to my book in the left margin. I changed the colors easily to match my website and imported the banner.

After using the test facility, I scheduled my first campaign overnight. It ran smoothly, and when I logged in to my Joomla administration screen there was a summary of the campaign displayed immediately. Statistics told me my campaign was 40% more effective than my industry average and I was able to see who had opened it and clicked.

What a fantastic marketing tool!

I have to admit to being no expert in intense internet stuff and I knew I needed to have SSL, but had no real idea how to control switching between the http and hhtps versions of my site. I installed this plugin, clicked on the items and components in the parameters, and that was all. It worked perfectly first time. Plugins like this a really good in that they give a lot of control and peace of mind to Joomla users who are not PHP programmers. I can't speak to the support of this plugin, because I didn't need any. Simple to use and elegant in operation. Well done!

DT Register
DT Register is the heart of my website. I use it to register attendees for my photography workshops. I have been using it for about a year without any problems and am probably due to upgrade my subscription. If I have one minor criticism it is that there are TOO MANY releases and upgrades. I am just one person and am always under pressure, so I have fallen behind with keeping my version up-to-date.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad all is working well for you! Yes, we put out updates about once per month on average as we are highly active with adding new features and improving anything we find that needs it! You wouldn't have to upgrade every time though unless you need or want something in the newest releases. ;)

Simple and easy to configure. This mostly did what it claimed to do. However, when I click on the thumbnail image on my site it just displays a blank page, because it fails to concatenate the AlbumID withe the AlbumKey to create the url for the correct link. It tries to link with just the AlbumID. It also seems to slow the laoding of my site considerably. If I could find a solution to this I would use this for sure and give it a maximum rating.

I did correct that issue in version 1.1.0, available now

Concerning speed, SmugMug use Amazon S3, and since my code pull an image in specified size (default is 150x150 pixels) I can only see your internet provider as being in fault. Try at different time in the day...
