JPlayer
It simply works without any effort. Developer made it simple and powerful, congratulation!

Fox Contact Form
It perfectly combines simplicity and power like few other extensions. Usability at the highest levels in backend and frontend. A masterpiece.

AJAX Scroller
AJAX Scroller is a perfect example of well-coded extension from a Joomla team member.

It works very good (stable, fast, clean) and Emir give a great support. I'm very satisfied and I'm going to suggest it to my "Joomla friends" :-)

KA Social Sharing
It's another KA killer extensions. It integrates perfectly on my site also also in Virtuemart flypages, see URL in KA Official Forum -> Joomla Extensions -> KA Social Sharing -> Site Showcase.

Options are A LOT but very simple to manage and author gave me good and fast support. $15 is a right price!

Great for monitoring and security purposes. I agree with Ernies suggestion about selective notifies.

Carlo is a good italian coder :-)

VirtueMart Tag Cloud
I lost my time testing other tags extensions. Now I know VirtueMart Tag Cloud is the best choice for me.

Danny, you made a good job. Thanx

It works very good. Great html implementation, fully customizable. I found a bug and reported it into the forum.

TY2U thanx for effort!

Popin Window
It could be the best popup extension, but until they don't fix IE html compatibility, it will not. Such a shame.

In the meanwhile I'm going with MOOPopup.

Note: It DOESN'T require registration to download.

MooPopUp
The best "pure" popup extension, even if customization is poor.

GTranslate
Pros: nice looking (it is the only one to show flags and drop down menu at the same time) and good backend.

Cons: author seems to "push" users to Pro version. How can we explain that Google wins the "frames show" battle a couple of days after each new free release while Pro alway works good?

At the moment AGTranslator is my 1st choise.
Owner's reply

Thanks for good response.

There is a big difference in used technologies of Pro and Free versions and this time there is no possibility to hide top frame 100% by Free version (it shows during the Translation process, but after disappears if you wait).

RokSlideshow
I have to agree wirh other reviewer: it's a great extension, maybe the best no Flash Joomla slideshow out of there.

Anyway Ken Burns animation is VERY resource consumer: have a look at browser CPU usage and you'll understand why avoid it. So in that case a flash based slideshow (like JSN ImageShow) is still the best choise.

JoomSlide
Highslide is the best Web 2.0 approach to popup windows. A professional choise for professional sites. On the other hand it's VERY complex to integrate and configure, so that beginner webmasters can be discouraged if they can't use a GOOD J! extension.

I tested ALL HS-related extensions without having satisfaction until I discovered JoomSlide. JoomSlide has a rare feature: it turns a nightmare in a dream. Other HS extensions (free and paid) can't get 10% of power and simplicity of JoomSlide.

Juan Miguel is a great coder and an enthusiastic and friendly person: he is working EVERY day at his/our project and he is very collaborative so that I'm pretty sure Joomslide will become a killer application in multimedia (not just images) manager in the next future of Joomla world.

Juan, keep on working!

MultiTrans
Last version is really good: it adds "Remove Frames" option so that provider frame disappear after few seconds. Margins options are very good too.

The best solution if you are not ready for Joomfish.

eXtplorer
A must have together with Joomlapack to upload archive, extract and restore. Also good as file manager if you don't have ftp access.

Thanx to authors! :)

Phoca Guestbook
Tested ALL guestbook extension here. My choise was Phoca because it's stable and has a very good documentation. As far as I know it is the only one you can choose font, border and background colours, so that it PERFECTLY integrates in every template.
I hope they'll add images link capability.

Great piece of software, higly recommended if you need a simple guestbook (or comment).

Akeeba Backup
Beautiful tool, a must have for every Joomla user. I guess/hope it will be included in official distribution. I'll donate for it.

Slimbox Image Gallery Plugin for Joomla! v 1.5
It still seems to be the ONLY really working slimbox extension on J1.5, so... thanx for effort.

It should be great if we don't have to manually add all images/thumbnails, so I'm going to write a tool that "grab" all of them into a dir according with specified patterns and generate needed code to simply copy and paste. If someone of you is interested let me know and I will share it (with source of course).
