I chose Peoplesign Captcha because I didn't want my users to have to try to decipher the characters in normal captcha pictures.

I support multiple Joomla websites, and have a fairly good experience level with Joomla and web technologies.

I found the installation, registration, and customization process for this extension very easy and simple.

When I encountered an error, the error told me who to report it to, so I whipped out the email. I received a response within an hour, and the Peoplesign staff (Dave in particular) worked quickly to resolve the error and update the plugin to work in my environment.

I like the customization levels that are possible, and the ability to customize the captcha section to match my site. I particularly like the easy customization process. In the plugin parameters, there are "click here" links to the customization page at Peoplesign. There you set the parameters, and immediately see how the plugin will look on your site with those parameters. It provides the customization string that you can then cut and paste into the plugin parameters. You can have a unique customization string for each location that you implement the plugin.

I'm currently using it on a security information website, on the registration page to stop the drive-by spam ids that get created on a fairly regular basis.

I'm about to deploy it to the church sites I support that have a terrible time with the spam ids as well.

I found this to be a great, easy to use extension. I'm much more impressed with the support I received, which is truly the mark of a good product.
