This utility is so simple to use. Create your table as a csv file. Open any article. Click on the "Table" icon at the bottom of the article editor page. Follow the prompts. The table is automatically created and the data loaded. I especially like it as my clients can easily load modified spread-sheets into an existing article with little knowledge of Joomla.
Full marks to the author.

Slideboom plugin
This plug-in is fabulous allowing PowerPoint presentations loaded up to Slideboom.com to be embedded in one or more Joomla articles.

Very easy to use and reliable.
Small issue- not being able to join the online support forum as there is no "Accept" button after the "Terms of Agreement".
