Image for Phoca Gallery
This extention has saved me hours of work on pics and diashow presentations. No problem on Joomla 1.5 with other extentions installed (JCE, Xmap). Great support and quick answer to my questions when I emailed the developer. Worth a donation!
Cons: if you have Joomfish installed, you'll have to work-around to have categories and file translated for Phoca; however, on the dev's site you'll find an extra zip file for download that will fix the translation gap. Not a straight forward process thought, but easy for experienced Joomla site admins. Providing users with that zip file, the developer showed commitment to his work and the Joomla community. FAQ Slider plugin
This plugin is one of the best for slides and tabs. Works without problem on a Joomla 1.5.23 and gives no issue even if you have other extentions installed (i.e. Joomfish, PhocaGallery and a few others). Recommended for experienced Joomla admins, a little bit less for new Joomla site's admin. However, if you take time to read carefully the documentation on the developer's site, this extention can become your "must have" since it offers a wide range of possibilities to reduce long blog articles pages, categories and sections. All in all, 5 stars!!! Thank you for sharing a time saving extention.

I've installed this extention on my Joomla 1.5.23 site to load some javascript and php code in a module. It was easy to install, worked well and ... solved a problem related to codes being stripped away from many editors component (i.e. JCE). Thanks for sharing this extention.

joomfish is without doubt one of the best components around. Easy to install and works well with joomla 1.5 SEF module. Also, well documented. When downloading this extention don't forget to download the language pack for your preferred language and install into 'language' in the joomla directory folder. Thanks Joomfish Team, you saved me and others a lot of time when developing multi-language websites.
