This sort of works for IE8. It depends on how the module is laid out. Some of mine work and others I had to turn off. I'm not an expert so I can't tell you why some work and some don't but i suggest moving on unless this gets updated soon.

Works great after initially loading the website but if you could somehow make the home page static always then this plug in would be PREFECT! It does speed things up :)

Just for those new to gears. When you click "update gears" Its not downloading to your website its downloading the files to your computer (which is why its faster). It should be very east as with any extension to uninstall later if you want to. Really does speed things up.

I love this! Only thing i wish it had was an option to select other databases to backup to. That way I could back up my sideshowpro directory to :)

There is a conflict with a couple of other modules I use when using internet explorer 7. I get the "operation aborted" error and page wont load. The two modules that conflicted with this are...

This does not work with these two modules in internet explorer 7. Firefox and Safari both worked great with this and my other modules.
