At first blush the component looks strong but after paying for the full extension I would say you should skip this and move onto another CCK (Jreviews, K2, etc)

As others have mentioned the support is non-existent and documentation is also slim. That is a bad combination.

This is actually the first negative review I have ever taken the time to give after installing literally hundreds of paid on free Joomla components over the years and I hope the developer starts deciding to back up their product.

Support over at SC goes above and beyond the average developer. Their products are well coded and I currently have both their Facebook and Linkedin connection tools running on my site smoothly.

I have been using this on one of my pages and it has been a great traffic developer.

I installed it and had it running out of the box in a few minutes and the developer also took the time for a live chat with me.

Go for at least buying the copyright free version to help the developer as I know he is planning on updating to 1.6 as well as supporting only having one vote per answer, etc.

Like others here I did not want to spend the money installing an SSL and just needed to encrypt my login information.

Downloaded the Jomsocial plugin and the component and within 5 minutes was up and running.

Great component and thanks for your contribution to the community.

I think this module is one of the most powerful tools you can have in your Joomla toolbox, it allows a huge range of possibilities to customize your site that can't be done out of the box.

Stephen has helped me with several issues and gone out of his way to make sure they have worked properly on my site.

Hopefully enough of us can donate to make this worth his time.
