I can't not believe how good this script is. I started with the Free one, then decided to buy JV-link. To be honest I was hesitate at first because the out-of-the-box look does not good as good as Mosets tree, but I was wrong.

Pros:
. It is jammed packed with features, I spent an hour just to play around with the admin, and I still have not fully understand it. There are so many options to customize.
. Price: Great, the subscription is very reasonable, if not cheap compare to Mosets Tree.
. Support: Wow, amazing! Niranjan respond to my questions quickly and efficiently. And my questions was not even about the script's bug or errors, but my customization (which he doesn't have to support at all). Not only that, he was went beyond helping by login to my site and fixed my CSS. Compare to Mosets tree, a question about reciprocal link has no answer in 3 days (and still has not). This guy knows what's he doing, and stand behind his product!

Cons: I have to think hard to find these :)
. No option to change the language via admin interface. If you have other language rather than English you have to go through language file to make change.
. Design looks good, but not great, but if you know what you're doing I don't see why it's a problem.

You can't go wrong with JV-Link. This is the best purchase I've ever made with Joomla, along with JVvideo and sh404SEF. Thank you Niranjan again, you're rock!

I just downloaded and test it out, seems like a very good components. Except that I wish there is sub-category. Right now Den only has main level of category, so it's hard to organize if you have video gallery.

This is my first review here.

I stumbled on jdirectvideo yesterday and spent almost 24 hours playing around with it. I have not tried HWvideoshare so I can't compare both, but I'm very impressed with what JV can do. I tried JV with a video gallery in mind, not youtube kind-of-site so anti-leech, multiple servers, and link fetch are the main selling points to me.

Let's break down for the components:

Pros:
- Bargain price: For such a complicated extension, its cost is an absolute bargain (20 euro). I can't believe there are simple mod such as commenting with the same price.
- Installation: If you're noob like me, most likely you won't get everything right The forums are useful, but I'd recommend you to go with pro subscription to get support via ticket system.
- Support: This is where JV is really shine, support via tickets rock. I had a hard time understand some basic concepts and John was very help. He even went beyond what I asked him to do, by login my site and fix the errors himself, it was 2 to 3 hours at least.
- Add-ins: There are quite a few goodies, I like all the great addon, support many other sites sh404sef as well.

Cons:
- No sub-categories, again, this is just me because I want to use it as video gallery. For others I don't see it's a big deal, youtube itself doesn't have sub-category also.
- If you use sh404sef with cache on, and try to embed the video into article, you might have to turn cache off. Again, embed video to article will not heavily since majority of people who buy this script will run a youtube-like website anyway, and for aspect, there is no problem at all.
- Embed link to article, Veoh files are not working yet, youtube and my own video works fine, same as above, not biggie.
- Design overall, the front page is pretty simple, not that really eye-catching, don't expect a "woah" design like Rayzz video.

Overall, I think this is a very worthy component. It deserves every single penny that I paid. It's very solid component with minimal bugs, despite its very young stage. I'm pretty confident the cons will be solved soon, and new features will be added, as developers are constantly working, judging by the fact that they been doing an excellent job on the support site.
