1/ works immediately, no complications in settings.
2/ is gathering the features of a FORUM and of a PMS (private message system).
I am replacing the two big components KUNENA and uddeIM by DISCUSSIONS.
Recommended for light and lean websites.

a/ Its "tree" display (very clean).
b/ its immediate compatibility with many "content article" components.
c/ the possibility to import previous comments already existing on my website.
In conclusion, I switched very quickly an existing site with comments to a new comments display, clean and beautiful.
On top the comments are in my website ... no need to use an external platform like Disqus, Intensedebate, or else. The users do not need to subscribe another service to place comments.
Excellent component!
