Everything as it should be -
The extension is excellent, very flexible, looks great and, with a separate theme file, is easy to change the look.
There is an excellent forum with quick and constructive replies given to questions.
Documentation is good, something sometimes missing in otherwise good extensions.
Despite its power, JCal works with Joomlart templates which often have problems with anything more than basic extensions.

I needed more fields which this gave me and a quick change to the language file allows field labels to easily be changed.
Minor points -
Needs label for the Message Box
Needs message 'Fields marked with a * are required'
Layout when completing form could be more attractive
IP address, user agent, etc don't get forwarded, at least not for me
Back end should have a field for email subject
Front end should have field for a subject (which should be added after the backend subject text)
