You know how all these JCE and JCK modify your HTML source code and make it look like cr** by putting all your code in one very long line? And no matter how you try to find the plugins and ways of overriding it, it just does not stop doing it? Everyone says JCK is better than JCE, but noooo, maybe the commercial version yes. Actually come to think about it, all of them have something other does not.

I am an HTML source code lover. I just love it when I open source view and everything is neat and tidy. Joomla is not HTML tidy at all.

However, I was about to cry from happiness when this CodeMirror editor did not change any of my HTML tags, didn't removed empty tags, nor did any other annoying things. And it has color distinction!

So I guess, at this point, this editor wins for the BEST HTML editor. What prevents JCE or JCK from implementing something as clean as this editor into their own system? With them, even when you switch off the HTML Cleanup option, they still do some nasty things to your code, but not this easy and nice plugin. Thank you, thank you!

Maybe it is due to my English skills, I could not understand HOW to make this work. I looked everywhere trying to find detailed descriptions on how to use it. I didn't find it, but, gladly, I was able to figure out.

Here is what you should do: Follow the steps that the author describes:

- Install the component
- Click in Component - JInstaller
- Click "Start" button
- Click "another "Start" button
- Wait until your browser window says "Done" or simply Stops loading
- You can close the window now (it means it's backed up)
- Go to your Joomla root directory.
- You'll find a new folder there "installationBAK"
- Download the latest Joomla 1.5.x.x version ZIP.
- Unzip it into the desired directory where you would like to place a new copy of Joomla.
- Now, replace the "installation" folder with your "installationBAK" folder, renaming it accordingly to "installation".
- Run the Joomla installation
- When it asks if you would like to Install Sample Content or Migrate or Upload an script - just ignore it. Do not change any settings, it will automatically install your copied database.
- Now, copy all physical files from your site to this new one (templates, modules, images, I mean everything).
- Now, you gotta not forget to update configuration.php if you switch the root directory, for example: wwww.yoursite.com is now www.yournewsite.com/joomla/ (but you can find plenty of instruction on this process)

So there, great Component, but just needs a bit of documentation! :)

Thanks!

Xmap
I just love it! No extra CSS, you can even exclude the Menu items by ID.

TweetXT
The best Twitter plugin from all of them, you can customize it as you wish! Awesome! Thanks! I tried like 5 of them and I like this one way more than any other one.
