I wanted to give this component a try even given the complaints and I'm sorry to say that they are correct. This component does not work in Joomla 1.7.

It will install and you can create a category without issue but that is were it stops. I was able to add a portfolio item but the images entry only allowed one of the images to be listed.

When I tried to add a menu item for category view, I found that it is not possible to designate a category - the field is empty.

When I tried to add a menu link for a standard portfolio, the item I entered was not the portfolio displayed - the item displayed contained no data.

At the end of this I was unable to display any of the data that was entered in the portfolio manager. I checked their site and there doesn't appear to be a support section aside from the Contact Us page.

This was a new Joomla 1.7.3 site using a rocket theme template and no other extensions installed.

A very easy to use sudoku and good looking game. Combined with NoNumber's Modules in content plugin, this module makes a great stand alone page for your site!

This is a wonderful add-on for versions of Joomla prior to 1.5 but it is not truly compatible with J1.5.x legacy mode or not. I have spent considerable time pouring through the forums at Joomlapolis and tinkering with the component and modules as best I can and have not been able to get it to work reliably with j1.5. At best, it crashed my site only about 60% of the time.

The bottom line is that version 1.1 of CB is NOT as compatible with J1.5 as it's description would have you believe.

I will wait for both the native version of CB AND a migrator tool before I consider migrating my site.
