I have been using Joomla for 7 years now, played with lots of extensions, CCKs most recently, trying to find a way of developing my own component to do a specific task that no one has developed since it is not a component that would likely to be used anywhere else, except in my work. The problem is I am not a developer, and only an average hacker. I understand the skills needed to develop a component but just don't have the patience or the skills.
However, I have been continually browsing the Joomla extensions library looking in the hope that I could find something that was simple to use but powerful. This tool is a fantastic time save. It may not be perfect but it goes a long to way to creating a simple component in no time at all.
