The Joomla! Extensions Directory ™

I paid for the silver subscription because I'm a web developer and manage numerous sites. My understanding was that in addition to being able to update my Joomla installation, I would be able to keep my sites' extensions up to date.

This is VERY disappointing. I should have complete control over which sites I set up with profiles, so long as I don't go over the number my subscription provides for.

What makes this a poor response, in my opinion, is that there is even a "delete" button right in the profile list. What does that button do? Nothing, according to this response.

Frankly, I'm quite disappointed in this product and service. On the front page, you write, "Update all your extensions right from Joomla Updater!" But the only thing that I can really update is Joomla itself, and - at least as of yesterday - it doesn't even update to the latest version, which is 1.5.20. That claim should be classified as false advertising.

When I look at the various panels in the component in the back end, I see numerous "(old) [ Update ] " tags, but of course, I can't update the components in question, because either there's no update really available, or because the update process creates an error, which I've noted before.

I suppose, since I've already paid for the subscription, I'm stuck with the product and with the loss of money I paid for it. Obviously, I won't be using it, as it's fairly useless on a practical, day-to-day basis.

If all you want to do is update Joomla itself, I wouldn't bother with this component - there are others that do the same thing and for free.
