I cannot say enough good things about this Admin template! Straight up the smartest free alternative to the default Joomla Admin template I've come across.
Not just merely a cosmetic job but a complete rethinking of the structure and the logic of the Joomla admin, from the menus on down. It might take long-time Joomla users a minute to adjust, but once you do you'll wonder how you lived without it. Plus, tons of configuration; even more if your willing to get poke around in the very clean code. Absolutely part of my core Joomla install.
JoomlaPraise, the team behind this fine work, are a great resource for Joomla users of a levels, so the support is excellent. They have a couple of great commercial Admin templates (I prefer version 1) that have some more advanced scripts, but AdminPraise Lite is just that - light! As in: the page refreshes are lightening quick.
I can't recommend this project enough. That they've released it for free to the whole Joomla community is a real gift.

I'm not sure what to say about this that hasn't been said in other reviews: but indeed, this is a seriously powerful and easy to use form builder, with great integration and great support.
Form building is a tool that almost every website developer will need at some point for any number of tasks. And when the time came for me, I looked long and hard through the JED and elsewhere for the best solution. I factored in a number of things but most importantly, how was the support and how well was the code being maintained. Phil Taylor's Blue Flame Forms met all of my requirements and then some.
Perhaps it's not as set it and forget it as some other extensions (and why would it be: forms are a complicated beast and have to be able to do a lot of things), but considering how many variables there are in the many Joomla sites there are out there Phil Taylor has done a top job in cover all the basics and more, and the support really is top notch. Of all the form extensions I tried, this was the easiest to get up to speed on.

As everyone will attest, this is a great administrator extension. I have no complaints and the support is apparently top notch, though I've never needed it because this works so well.
I'm glad the developer is building a 'pro' version because the only thing that is wrong with the present version is the donation system: it's a little off-putting. I look forward to supporting this project.

As a security measure for your Joomla site this is an excellent investment. Not only is it open source with great licensing that is well priced, the support is some of the best I've encountered. They not only helped me getting it install and configured, they have helped me tighten up my overall joomla/server security.
I am very much looking forward to the continued development and future versions of this script. But even as it is this has helped me immeasurably.

Even if you're the most seasoned Super Admin, absolutely comfortable exporting database tables and reinstalling backups, I'm sure that this extension will have something to offer you.
If you're a intermediate level developer, I cannot stress how much easier this makes working with a joomla site.
For example, I have a localhost development site, a live test/launch server, and the live site. If I make changes to the live site or the development server, I can make a mirror of the revised site as easily as doing a clean joomla install. Or you can build you're own core joomla install, with all the extensions and changes that work for you, pack it up. And then rather spending the hours re-configuring each joomla install you done as soon as you run the install, and you can get to the business of building your site.
There's a lot of deep control about what and where to pack. So if you think that this has nothing to offer you, check it out. I'll bet you'll be surprised.

This just keeps getting better and better. Actively updated and improved. Bugs squashed. New layouts of the componants makes working in the backend even easier. Integrates with just about any other extension, and can eliminate the need for many others with its plugins and advanced functionality.
One of the best joomla investments I've made. For real.

Add on the event calendar module that's listed here and you have a great events solution. I tried one other event component and immediately went back to eventlist. Dead easy to configure and style, nice integration with other components, and actively developed. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth supporting.

Indeed, this extends the custom html module in a simple and *very* useful way. Makes it a breeze to extend the layout of a page by using modules and the article manager.
Yes, this functionality should standard with joomla. Definitely needs to be part of the core in some form.
Squash a few bugs, bring it out of beta and you've got a 5-star module for sure.

My client asked for a newsletter sign up and, well, here it is. Installed without incident, and was super easy to understand and configure. There may be some small short-comings, but it appears the developer is actively working on this so I expect the improvements will address these. Nevertheless, the framework is very clean and well thought out, and simple to use. Thanks so much. You just made my life that much easier!
