If your template dose not have any compression plugin, that this is the best way to solve problem with optimization of CSS and JS. It is better way to minify and compress files than do this manually, because you have still clear code for development. It can significantly reduce page loading time.

Useful plugin especially for Joomla 1.5 sites with language containing national characters, eg. Polish. Now there is now problem with creation of aliases in any Joomla resources.

Very useful component when you want to create advanced content with parameters instead of using templates for Joomla Articles. Component should have more types of custom fields and nice manager for images uploaded to gallery to be excellent.

JCE is the best content editor for Joomla. It allows user to create many profiles for different groups and one of the most important thing is that it gives access to all Joomla resources like menu items or articles and let you easily insert link. It has also nice image manager. It should be Joomla default editor.
