Works great, thanks - J1.5.10 VM1.1.3
registration was painless.
(i was hoping for a solution to the problem where joomla supplies the wrong template for step 2-3-4 of the checkout process, but this wasn't it)

This module doesn't actually replace the footer or the copyright notice, it just adds some text and links in a module position you specify (so your template needs a position under the footer). it's really just a simple "custom menu" module - and using this module has shown me that the real solution to my problem is just to add a menu under the footer.
it does work though, the only problem i found was the text "FOOTER_LINE1" at the top of the module which i couldn't work out how to delete.

Hi,
thanks for the review.
What kind of problem you have with the copyright? The copyright line (FOOTER_LINE1 is the line for joomla copyright) is display exactly as in the standard footer mod.
Write on simpleweb's forum or mail me to fix your problem.

I'm upgrading a site from Joomla! 1.0 to 1.5. this is my first upgrade, and someone else built the original site using D4J TransMenu v1.3 - D4J only works in legacy mode which i don't want to enable, so i was prepared to compromise on having an identical menu system. but it only took me half an hour to match the old menu exactly. thanks!
