Excellent – not only for News!!! I would call it Display Content ;-)
The unbelievable amount of parameters and options is amazing. The Extension-Title is not reflecting the possibilities... i wished i would have found this brilliant piece earlier!

For anyone who blogs with joomla build-in features and is looking for a wordpress-style cat-module... comes very close to my needs!
wishlist:
Please add different view layouts to the links.
Is it possible to have options for the common joomla-views like table and blog. It is important to adjust the view parameters!

I emagine really nice possibilities for people who need the description part in fontend. It's a brilliant way to leave the typical top-down-layout of the blog views. Often thought of putting an intro on another place... Glad, i found this little "gem"! This is one of the little helpers, which makes joomla "shine".

The new "none-tree" list styles are very much appreciated! Though the tree-display was the initial purpose and main feature... it is now more usefull for almost any usage. The added list styles are more like a Menu or Content-Linklist!
IMHO it is prettier and looks less technical or explorer-like.
Wishlist:
- Ordering by create date, modified date
- maybe a fancy AJAX tooltip with intro text

Should be a core feature of Joomla!
Absolutely a timesaver at this status, but I hope it is getting extended with more options in the future.
Wishlist:
- Joomla 1.5 support ;-)
- Metatags-Keyword insertion (maybe automatic copy from title/alias)
- meta-description
- image/mosimage placeholder (maybe the asterisk.jpg or a custom selection)
