I had the task of transferring around 1000 products from Virtuemart 1 to the latest version 2.0.8 and every forum post that I read had a very long and tedious process involved to make this happen. I decided to search for an extension that might help me out with the process. I found CSV Advanced! Using one of the templates included with the product, I was able to bring all of my products into the new version by simply matching the table header names and importing.
I came across one problem that I couldn't solve and Giang, (the developer) responded to my issue within an hour. The issue turned out to be a Virtuemart issue in which he still continued to correct for me.
I have never received support like this with any product before. I highly recommend this product and any of his other extensions.
