I had a problem pasting javascript into the usual custom html module. No matter what my Editor settings it messed up the code.
Installed this module, pasted in the javascript -- it didn't mess up the code -- worked perfectly.
You need this simple but perfect module in your Joomla bag of tricks.
Thanks, Developer!

If you are using JOomla 1.5 make sure you use BC ImageLink from the same author. I could not get this version (mosimage link) to work with 1.5 legacy or native.
BC imagelink works great. I am only rating this average because the Review System requires a rating. I mosimagelink works as excellently on joomla 1.x
Here's the link to BC Imagelink on the JED:

So I get a call from one of my clients saying that he basically wants a global change for his entire site. I would have had to go thorugh hundreds of pages making the minor but time-consuming change.
I considered doing a seach and replace via the exported mysql file. But I didn't want to take that drastic step. I remembered seeing this plugin and downloaded it. Installed it in 2 minutes and 5 minutes later the global change was finished.
Now I can goof off the rest of the day!
Thanks, ReReplacer and all of the incredible Joomla Open Source developers for giving us great tools like this gem!

If you find yourself retyping the same content over and over get this baby. You create various snippets in the component and then at the bottom of your editor you see the title of each snippet, so you can select it - and it's pasted in wherever you want it to go.
I'm using it for one site, and have another site where my client needs to put in some specific content on many pages. Now the client can just select the generic snippet from the menu and paste it in -- no mistakes, no spelling errors, etc.

I needed a graphic on the bottom of most of my pages. I had a lot of pages already written, and would be adding lots of pages in the future.
So with this plugin all I did was paste in the html of the image into the plugin's field in the plug-in panel.
I was able to select which section, category or article # to exclude.
The important thing that makes this plug-in different from others is NO code needed to be added to any of the articles - it's all handled via then plug-in
Even better, the author accepted a couple of my suggestions and quickly did an update. I sent him a Paypal donation in appreciation. :)

What a time saver. You select the Section/Category for the module and the menu names and links are automatically created!
It automatically grabs your article title, with various sorting options.
If possible, I would award author Jan Zikmund an Oscar for Best Written Automatically Generated Menu". Take your bow, Jan!

Works simply and nicely. I had a problem with the flash images not showing when someone clicked on "Read more" in my articles.
I examined the module and saw that file path, by default was set to images/flash/
I modified it to /images/flash/ (adding the forward /) and the images on the readmore page loaded fine.
I am forwarding this note to the developer, but felt it would be helpful here until he reviews my suggestion.

Works very nicely, adding the article titles to the next and previous.
When you get to the download site, click on the translation icons to your native language. The plugin indicates Chinese language, but I installed it on an English site and it worked just fine.
There is a link to an apparent different version of the plug-in, but the version I downloaded is titlenav_plugin_v1.0_chinese.zip and it works fine.

What a great timesaver. No more making thumbnails by hand for your articles. No paramenters, you just insert your full size image and resize it. The plug-in senses it and creates the thumbnail invisibly behind the scenes. It's MAGIC!
I am using the Joomla Modal setting in the plugin because the Slimbox had a small conflict.
Important: If all you see is a link instead of a thumbnail, just use JoomlaXplorer or similar component to change the thumbnail component to writable.

I use this extension on a site where internal linking is important for SEO. First step is I select an internal article and decide on which keywords on the page should be automatically linked to other pages on the site. Then automatically any page that has the same keywords will will be text linked to that page. All of this is customizable by Section and Category.
Even more terrific is the incredible support. Submit a ticket and the response is quick.
And they listen to users suggestions. I made a suggestion and two days later it was incorporated into their latest update. It was not a simple suggestion and I am sure it required some serious programming.
I rated this component Excellent. I would rate it even higher if it was possible. Excellemente!

Get this module and install it right away. It is so much easier than the built in component drop down module. It creates a simple slist that you just click on. What could be easier.
Just a tip. In the module manager be sure to click on the Administrator tab to see the module. Enable it and as the author says, publish it to the cpanel position.
You will thank the author for this module every time you need to access the component list. And you will thank me for this glowing, much-deserved review that encouraged you to install it.

It's so simple, at first I could not figure out how to use it.
So here's what you do.
Suppose you have the following content on a page. But you want to protect it.
Like the following "I am in love with Joomla"
Once you activate the mambot you type {password I am in love with Joomla}
Presto. It's protected by the password you set in the mambot.
Simple but works nicely!

I needed to wrap an external webpage in a content page.
When I used Joomla's wrapper menu item feature I could not add leading intro text to lead into the wrapper.
This little utility makes it real easy. You just install the plug-in and activate it. Then in your content article you just add the following simple paramentes: {iframe}http://www.rowby.com{/iframe}
Of course you can add intro text, etc.
An important tip. As with all snippets, make sure your text is clean. Best to copy your paramenters from notepad, to make sure you don't hsve "hidden formatting" included in your link.
I wanted to make a paypal donation to the author, but the paypal system said that te Paypal system in his country could only send payments and not receive them at this time.

Very easy to use. Just paste the code parameters into any article and the banners from the core banner Joomla component appear. Works nicely. Would like to see continual image rotation in a future version.

When not using Joomla do you currently use Dreamweaver or Front Page to create your forms?
Then do yourself a favor and get this component. It is soooo much easier to use. You just create your form in Dreamweaver or similar web program and copy and paste the html into the admin panel. (Design it any way you want, using tables, or whatever you like.)
Being used to creating my forms in Dreamweaver, ChronoForms is SOOOOO much ESASIER than all of the other components I've used here in the Joomla extension library. And it's free.
One thing to keep in mind. When linking to the ChronoForm in the Joomla menu system, use the URL link (not the component link). Use this example link index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=myformname (replace "myformname" with the name of the form you have given it in the ChronoForm admin panel.)
As they say on the net, CHEERS and LOL!
