Simple Flickr Slideshow
This is an elegant solution for feeding Flickr displays to your joomla? website. I've installed multiple modules on various sites and it works a treat. Easy to install and configure. My only problem with it is that it seems a little difficult to place in an exact position on a page. Also, I don't seem to be able to stack one on top of the other. Nevertheless, it's a nice tool for a simple gallery and reduces double handling.

I'll keep a keen eye open for upgrades.

rsjb, Thank you for your kind review and suggestions. They are most welcomed. I just released a new version (1.0.1) to correct a flaw in the jQuery script. Download is now available!

JooDatabase
Of all the tools for displaying SQL databases out there, this one is by far the simplest and best. It's nice and compact and easy to install. The instructions are a bit scant but if you read the instructions on the front page of the component carefully and setup your databases properly it will all work out. This is a great way of quickly displaying graphics and text in a clean and logical format.
Great work.
Thanks for this.
Ulti Reflection
I like this extension a lot. It was easy to install into static pages. Caused a conflict with scrolling JA News however so I tend to leave it off any scrolling headling articles. One other minor problem I'm finding is that it doesn't seem to centre correctly and is alway a few pixels to the left of centre.

Some more documentation would be useful.

JFusion
It's all installed and seems to work fine and the control panel is good, however I'd like to resolve a couple of niggling issues that I thought could perhaps be dealt with on the product's forum site at jfusion.org, but alas I cannot seem to get a registration or confirmation email.

Registration emails not arriving is almost certainly due to your spam filter. Registration is working fine (other users can register and post on the forum). Check your spam box for the confirmation email.

CAPTCHA Connector
I tried most of the extensions here and found them to be difficult to install and in the end, not very effective and quite ugly. This extension installed easily without any hassles and has been running effectively on various sites of mine now for about 3 weeks. Since then the spam has been completely eliminated from my sites and I've been able to customise it and tailor it to suite the varying needs of my members and visitors.

Support is good and at $10 (multiple licence) is a small amount of money well spent.

Mini Ad Spot
Nice and tidy little module that installed in literally seconds. I configured it within 5 minutes. Got a bit confused finding the folder where the images are stored, but figured that out pretty quickly on the authors forum pages. Looks great, works well, installs easily.

Congratulations

Ultimate Paypal Donations Module
I was going to install a whole shopping cart system but felt it was over-engineering. All I really needed for this particular site was a simple Donation Module for a community group. I downloaded this at 8:00pm and had it installed and configured and checked by 8:09pm.

Looks nice too. I'll have dinner then muck about with it later and plug in my own graphics and words.

Thanks, I'll make a donation.

BF Survey Pro
I'd tried a few components for surveys and first downloaded the free version as a trial and found that it installed easily and was simple to configure. If I had the time I could have customised it even further, however, not being a coder and with a few big sites, I felt I should bite the bullet and try the pro version. It was well worth it. It installed seamlessly and provided a range of options and functions that suited the needs of my clients with more complex questions and categories. I'd recommend it to anyone. The developer is quick to respond to any issues/problems and provides helpful hints and updates.

Nice work.
