RSEvents!Pro
After spending weeks on a highly rated event component which never worked as intended, RSEventsPro was happily purchased and installed: it's equivalent of a day of sunshine after weeks of rain and drama. Works out of the box, streamlined, beautifully configured, looks smooth and lovely and is a delight to use!

For a simple cart solution, with the added bonus of shipping charges configurations, this must be one of the best lightweight scripts around. I was beginning to tear my hair out because of the guidelines set by a client until I came upon this wonderful simple and rational think of beauty. My thanks to the generous developers for giving it out for free.

Good but needs improving

After 3 hours of trying to get this component to work it did - so if you are finding your self in the same situation do the following: create a subfolder in your joomla site > manually upload the full and latest version of Joomla 2.5 > once this is done make the folder in which your new joomla installation resides writable > to to JUpgrade in your original Joomla 1.5 site and click on Parameters > in the 'target directory' field add the path to the directory where you want the content to migrate to (if its a sub directory add \) save and then start the JUpgrade migration. In a few minutes you are done. There is some more work to be done afterwards, but at least the main content should be all there.

Beautifully put together, this comes with additional modules and plugin. My only gripe is that you cannot create a repeat event (but the team is working on it). There was a small hiccup with the installation at my end because the component needs the 'System - Mootools Upgrade' plugin enabled but the support is fantastic so overall it's a five star from me!

This is the component which should be part of any Joomla installation by default. The CSS are easy to edit and the multiple configurations make it incredibly versatile. Great work!

Great component, well built and with a very efficient support team in case you need it.
Best event / course component built for Joomla at present (and I have tried a few) and well worth the relatively modest price tag.
