Installed it. Just cannot get it working only following the instructions. At last disabled joomla authentication plugin and the webpage start to appear in the facebook.
1) cannot change the template- changed the iframe plug and edited the php and related files- no luck
2) invite friends -just do not work.

There are others who have got this working. But is it very sad to see none of them taking 10minutes to put down what they did (extra) to get it right- well because everyone knows that the development has stopped there is not point in crying over it. At least people who got it working could help. so please share without killing the very spirit of open source.

Well, it works. However, there are 3 nasty links promptly displaying on the screen linking back to their website and do adverts of their site. It is a really distraction. Wrote to them and asked instructions to remove these links and offered to pay for it. Not willing.

Conclusion: Do not bother with this if you are looking it for a commercial or serious website.

This product is good for very basic site.

there are major limitations!.
1) Knowledge base- a proper knowledge base require not only just to type text. it require to support attachments, screen shots etc which is really required for a serious KB. AND the worse part is that you cannot disable the main sections say KB if you need a more comprehensive KB system such as Blueframe KB. So you are stuck with this.

2) This component does not integrate with any of joomla editors. It just only allow you to add plain text.

3) No plugin or support for popular Xmap or any other site map system. We are not sure whether it could be ever done for this component as it may be using its own DB.

So lot of limitations and compromises- may be the best option to do is to have interdependent full featured Ticket system, KB (which could be installed as FAQ system as well) and testimonial system. Even if you buy paid components for all above the licensing costs would have been less than this one. I may have made a wrong decision...

This product is powerful and there is good amount of add-ons to do just about anything. I have used it for a while and managed to integrate forums and AEC tabs within CB. However, some of the plugs in CB site are outdated and does not work.

I decided to try this item and spend a full week with it. There were lot of issues but nothing impossible. Forum is a great place for all you want to know. I integrated a live site with paypal, tested physical and downloaded products, integrated and customized australia post for shipping, customized order confirmation/ invoice etc. I spend about 70hrs on this but I am now comftable in customising things though I am not a PHP or HTML guru. All you need is the to have faith and not to give up. The community is great.

I was searching for a component like this and glad I found it. I used it for my site and love it.

However, with few of the following improvements this could really go places
1) use joomla categories (others have commeneted on it) .
2) Has too many parameters but nothing to control page length for hover layer effect. Without it some text, pictures go out of page boarders and is difficult to control.
3) ability to use joomla or JEC editor feature for read more would be nice to have
