Easy to install, easy to get running. The only problem I had is finding the API Key or then the page number, the two values confusing as they seem to be the same. Some descriptions as to where to find the values would be great. Thank you to the team for a great module. Even with problems finding the right number it worked out the box no problem.

Some minor tweaks required but overall it is fantastic and a much needed solution. The payment gateway is a massive and I will be all in when it is available with payment gateway options.

I have created a whole new website on Joomla 1.5, have moved over from 1.0.12. The site was never upgraded due to size and level of custom work done.

After trying several tools, this helped me in minutes to transfer old CB users to new site.

For over a year I have used many solutions and SOBI2 is and was my favourtie. It is great, it is free and it works.

But...

I finally gave in and obtained a copy of Mostes and I must advise ALL to make the move!

a) The SEO, it is perfect, it works, every module installed just absolutely works with Joomla standard SEF. IT WORKS! Meta Tags, Keywords, ALL WORKS

b) field customisation, alghough a clone feature would be great, solutions available and IT WORKS, IT EASY to configure custom fields and it WORKS!!!

c) Intallation very easy, configuration, very easy, SPEED, it uses less tabes so very very fast.

d) Support is fantastic, they have a PRIORITY SUPPORT forum room, where I must say, SUPPORT was fantastic, even mods to a module was done for my needs.

WISH LIST FOR FUTURE VERSIONS:

Cloning Feature or ability to assign different fieds to different categories.

This is a fantastic module. Everything works.

Just one majore issue I spotted testing the component.

With SOBI2 SEF plugin and using Joomla Core SEF, the link do not show to the SEF liks, it add's http://[url].com/component/sobi2/[entryname] where component/sobi2 is showing in error. Also, whe you click on the link it takes you to SOBI2 index page without any modules you assigned to menu entry.

Lastly, credit always due for hard work and this is awesome module but it is not always possible to show credits with all your solutions, so option to disable credit would be good as I would rather not use it than edit the credit out.

This is just what I was looking for.

Installed on joomla 1.5 with latest Phoca Gallery but unfortunately the first two images of each category pulled was not shown. Tried to turn of as many options as I can but still same problem.

Also, my home page, on new site where I want it, slowed to a crawl.

Unfortunately I wont be using the module but this is 100% what is needed. Thank you for your hard work and look forward to future releases of the module.

Although it lacks some features, as I was looking to display MULTPLE banners but wanted to make sure if eg. there are 5 of them, they dont show a banner more than once at the same time.

But.. back to this component,

A) it does exactly what the developer promised it would
B) yes it is basic, but all you need and eliminates any risk of compatibility issues with browsers, servers etc
C) it works and it works and it works, it is so good to test component that works 100%

SOBI2 is the best directory component by far.

Have tried it before and mostly due to lack of skills left it till later every time.

Now I have given it all and installed

Install and default features works like a charm. Custom settings and template had a few hills to climb but the SUPPORT on the forums was amazing.

Installation: Joomla 1.5.8, Legacy Mode

As a Joomla solution this is the best I have ever used. I have used many and they get a bit complicated and robust but most importantly they dont always work.

Joomlapack worked from the word GO... I even used it on a joomla 1.0.12 installation and it was 100% fine!

To top it all I moved some sites from MySQL 4 to MySQL 5 and worked every time first time without a problem.

I have used several Joomla forms over the last 12 months and it's always been a bit of trouble each in it's own way.

In my desperation I thought I would look for something new or something I have not tried before and I am blown away to say the least.

a) I am using it on Joomla 1.0.13 with JoomSEF enabled.
b) The 1.9MB installation file (although I had my doubts) installed with NO PROBLEM at all.
c) A form with NAME FIELD and few other parameters was up and running in no less than 5 minutes
d) IT WORKS!!! It is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! It sent a email to where I wanted it to send one, it sent one to the address in the BCC field it even kept 100% record of it IT's WORKS and IT's AWESOME!
e) It works with JooomSEF with no extra configurations!

Very important aspect of it is... it WORKS!
Only one down side, the stats is not accurate but other than that FANTASTIC! Can recommend this component 100%!

I installde the component on Joomla 1.0.12 and I must say from START TO FINISH I had a 16 page book up there in less than 10 minutes.

There is no negatives at all the only improvement that would be greatj:
1. Being able to sort the pages by numbers without having to move them one by one up and down the list.
2. Ability to select a folder for pages for each book so that when you get to 5 or 10 books with each 16 pages you dont have a extremely long list to select from each time you add a page.

But... 100% ... 10/10 PERFECTO... Thank you!
