I needed an application that would install seamlessly and work out of the box without a lot of forum-shopping for answers to technical problems. This one did just that!! And its free!! Thanks to the developer. When I find a free app that works like this, I make it my business to donate. This one clearly deserves it. Great job!!

The reviews were all fantastic-- probably a little too fantastic in actuality. So I thought I'd download the software and see if all the raves were really deserved-- in my humble opinion, of course. As noted, the software installed without a hitch and within three minutes' time I had a module displaying an article complete with linked title, introtext and readme link. It can't possibly be any faster, easier or more efficient than this. Loved it so much I made a donation within minutes after using it for the first time. I've done several more article embeds and I'll be purchasing a license next-- just to support this excellent Joomla coder. We MUST keep him coding!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!

From downloading and unzipping to through the entire upgrade process, this program worked! I did exactly what the instructions advised. After installing into my Joomla 1.5.21 production-server installation, I ran the jUpgrade component and everything ran as advertised.

You KNOW you are going to have issues with templates for 1.6 so don't expect your paid professional templates to work without major tweaking.

But after finishing, I have access to the admin section and existing content which was my biggest concern (ie, no database problems)

This program is an EXCELLENT choice for users who want to test out the new joomla1.6!!!

I purchased, downloaded and installed the software without a hitch. I was using another email program and had over 1500 emails on hold that I couldn't get to download to my site. But with POST BY EMAIL, all waiting emails downloaded in a few seconds and now my contributor's articles are showing up where they should be. THANK YOU for a GREAT piece of software!!!!!!

I ran a site performance test at Joomla Performance (http://www.joomlaperformance.com/component/option,com_performance/Itemid,52/). I had only two items pass: HTML Size and Frames. Everything else failed.

I just happened to run across RokGZipper and installed it on a whim. Am I ever glad I did!

I immediately re-ran the performance grader from Joomla Performance and WOW! the software did exactly what it suggested it would do-- and even more!!

The performance test came back with everything passing except HTML Encoding >> Gzip, which still failed.

I'm estatic about this software. If you want to see immediate improvement in your site, PLEASE check this out.

Ulti-counter integrates seamlessly with Joomla 1.5. By itself, this is enough to make a body shout! But what's more, it works with no effort right out of the box. If you need a script to help you count down to an event like a birthday of New Year's Day this is it!! No, you won't have bells sounding and whistles blowing, but we all need to be a bit more sensitive to our visitor's needs for fast-loading sites. For a solidly performing mod, ulti-counter is the proverbial "it."

Installed like a charm, worked right "out of the box" with no tweaking. Only negative: I'd like to be able to get rid of the bounding box when I want-- a parameter like border=no would do nicely.

But beside that, this is a must have for every toolbox!

I previously used sitebackup, another joomla extension. It performed well enough for a while, but when my site grew to its present size, it stopped working. I installed joomlapack, partly out of frustration, since I wanted to add community builder to my site but needed to backup first.

JoomlaPack seamlessly installed on my 1.0.15 site and handled the full site backup (330 MB) without a hitch. This is a great extension! I recommend it, and will be following up with a donation to express my gratitude.
