Problems with versions 0.5.5-3 and 0.5.5

When attempting a conversion with the 0.5.5-3 release I only managed to transfer 1 out of over 100 articles.
Reasoning that the component HAS to work, I tried a prior release - 0.5.5 transferred half my articles. Finally, I used 0.5.4. This transferred all the articles correctly.

There will be NO home page, just a 404 if your home page was originally a blog listing. Only menu links to specific articles will still work. All other blog menu links will have to be rebuilt.

This has saved me a very great deal of effort - many thanks! ( Building a new template is not very hard really either - if you could build the old ones !)
